Hi, I'm Sherri Nash

I’m a therapist who knows the difference between unconscious depression from a conscious adaptive wariness and despair from living in this nation. I believe in treating the intersections of the whole person. And I have a specialized interest in the wellness and wholeness of womxn and BIPOC individuals.

I utilize Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavior Therapy,  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy while treating trauma, PTSD, and related illnesses in adolescents and adults.
I work primarily with adults with addictions, childhood traumas, and diagnosed co-occurring mental illnesses.

Therapy Approaches

Cognitive Behavioral

We identify negative thoughts about current issues. Then, we figure out a course of action to work through them.

Motivational Interviewing

This method helps people resolve their ambivalent feelings and insecurities to change a person's behavior.

We talk through, examine, and gain insight into difficulties faced by individuals, relationships, or families.

Reawaken oneself to the present and live in the moment, rather than dwelling on the past or anticipating the future.
